How we built it

• Built Appian Mobile application and web application for Claimant and Back office processing by Adjuster/Vehicle site inspector review.
• Leveraged the advanced techniques such as AI/ML model for damage estimation by evaluating the images, document repository on Amazon S3 for damage images and Amazon Rekognition Kit for OCR Processing of Body shop estimation data extraction.
• Real time integration with Claim Genius and Amazon S3 document repository

Challenges we ran into

• Real time test data. Since the model runs on the damage photos it was difficult for us to test with real time images taken at the accident site.

What we learned

Technically we have learnt the new integrations with Amazon Rekognition, S3 and other insure tech partner. on the business side we have learned there are lot other opportunities to solve the business problems.
