Inspiration
I was inspired by the idea of nostalgia for a future that never arrived — the sensation of longing for something promised but unrealized. I wanted to explore fabricated emotions, curated memories, and a society where beauty is perfected to the point of hollowness
What it does
This is a visual-poetic essay set in the world of Zerkolye — a society where emotions are replicable and memory is engineered. The poet Léviy Helo drifts through opulent simulations in search of something real
How we built it
I created the visuals using AI tools Midjourney / Suno / CapCut
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was maintaining the tension between beauty and emptiness — building a world that is lush and immaculate, yet subtly artificial
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I’m proud of creating a distinctive emotional atmosphere: a blend of longing, digital poetry, and aesthetic overstimulation. The project feels like a memory fragment that might have existed — but didn’t
What we learned
I learned how to better shape emotional environments with AI and how to use visuals to convey sensation rather than plot. I also refined my use of glitches, simulations, and digital art nouveau aesthetics
What's next for C.T.G. - Of memories
I plan to expand the world of Zerkolye, creating more visual essays, chronicles, and “memory spheres” from different characters. I want to deepen the exploration of simulated emotions and develop a full futurostalgia cycle
