Inspiration
Battery-powered, autonomous, self-driving car that detects whites and blacks to navigate.
What it does
Bromeo can navigate in the city all by itself with only a single black line.
How we built it
An UNO Arduino board with some wires, breadboard, 2 infrared sensors and an ultrasonic sensor (worked but we had to drop it). We successfully performed surgery a couple of times.
Challenges we ran into
The code didn't work so we started everything back from scratch in under 1h. The motor broke twice, the sensor didn't work and our Arudino board was faulty.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Although we had all these problems, at the end of the day, we were able to pull this off.
What we learned
Not be super ambitious right away and try to have something that works to begin with.
What's next for Bromeo - Team 2 - Forge McGill
It is currently disassembled but it's got a bright future.
