*BOBCAT *

Inspiration The idea for this project came from the image of a lone bobcat running through a neon-lit city at night. I wanted to capture the tension between wild instinct and futuristic rhythm — a chase about power, freedom, and pure wildness. The music’s energy pushed me to imagine a creature that doesn’t speak, but tells its story through motion, light, and impact.

What I Learned Through this project, I learned how much visual storytelling can enhance an instrumental track. Even without lyrics, a clear emotional line can be formed through pacing, atmosphere, and symbolic imagery. I also improved my sense of timing — designing transitions to match each beat, build, and drop taught me how tightly visuals and sound can interlock.

How I Built It I structured the video in 10-second segments to fit the 2-minute track, mapping each scene to the song’s progression.

• Intro: awakening in darkness
• Build: rising tension and city speed
• Drop: explosive power and movement
• Mid-section: calm but dangerous stillness
• Final drop: full transformation and release

Then I used AI tools to generate scenes, refine the aesthetic, and stitch everything together based on the storyboard. The goal was to make the visuals feel like they “belong” to the sound.

Challenges The biggest challenge was balancing speed and clarity — the track is intense, so the visuals had to be aggressive without becoming chaotic. Another challenge was achieving a consistent aesthetic across multiple AI-generated shots. Matching color, lighting, and motion required several iterations to maintain one unified world.
