Our project, bitCharity, is a web application that allows you to play casino games. When you win, you keep your cash, but when you lose, the money goes to charities. You may use bit coins or your bank account to get on-site currency (similar to chips in a real casino) that you can cash out at any time.
We made this project to give people the chance to gamble and not lose money to some wealthy casino owner, but instead lose to those who need it more. While the site does need a pot that people win and lose from, our games use the same probability rules that real casinos use to generate more revenue to the charities than to the average player.
We built this site using CSS and JavaScript. All music was made using FL Studio. All graphics were made in Photoshop.
