Inspiration
Every year, millions of people begin to lose fragments of who they are — names, faces, memories — as Alzheimer’s disease quietly takes hold. Behind each diagnosis lies a family watching someone they love slowly fade into forgetfulness. We built AURA because we believe that technology can change that story. Early detection can preserve not only years of life but also the moments that make life worth remembering. Our inspiration came from a simple but powerful idea: if we can see the disease before it takes hold, we can give people and their families more time — time to act, to connect, to remember.
What it does
AURA (Alzheimer’s Unified Risk Analyzer) is an AI-powered framework for early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. It uses de-identified biomedical and neuroimaging data to uncover subtle cognitive and physiological signals that precede clinical symptoms. We prioritized interpretability, ensuring our model doesn’t just predict — it explains its reasoning, allowing clinicians and researchers to trust its insights. AURA transforms invisible data patterns into visible knowledge — shedding light on the earliest whispers of decline before they become silence.

What's next for AURA
AURA represents more than a research prototype — it’s a vision of a world where no family must watch a loved one disappear into oblivion without warning. By illuminating what was once invisible, AURA gives humanity a fighting chance against forgetfulness — saving not just lives, but the memories that define them.
