Inspiration

One of our team member is a designer who often wants to show his work to recruiters. We had the idea that if projects could be interactive right from the resume, the candidate's skills would be much better represented.

What it does

AResume embeds echoAR virtual reality frames into an online resume. This lets visitors to your resume interact with your models. Additionally, a qr code is provided next to the model to be scanned on a phone so the model can be viewed in augmented reality.

How we built it

Our demo is made with only html and css.

Challenges we ran into

We tried to use a tech stack unfamiliar to us all in the beginning. It cost us a lot of time and so we were unable to have a fully functional website. We managed to still show how we envisioned our project working using html and css.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

None of us had worked with echoAR before. We’re proud that we as a team were able to figure out how to use a new technology.

What we learned

We all discovered how powerful yet simple many technologies such as echoAR can be. We now feel empowered to use similar technology in future projects.

What's next for AResume

Implement an interactive and personal feature in which job seekers can communicate directly with job recruiters. This way they can showcase their 3D projects in real time.
