Inspiration
Heart of Stone started with a simple thought:
what if your heart feels so heavy that love or even friendship feels impossible?
I wanted to speak to people who carry guilt, fear or tiredness instead of lightness.
People who still hope that someone or something will lift the weight for a moment.
The music, the lyrics and the visuals all circle around that feeling.
Story and Concept
The song is performed by a young AI hip hop artist.
His inner world and emotional weight are expressed through the story of a giant stone creature
trying to find connection in a massive city.
The creature is big, strange and intimidating on the outside,
but all it wants is a friend or a bit of warmth.
It becomes a metaphor for anyone who feels “too much” to be loved or understood.
The tone blends music video, dramedy and science fiction into an emotional narrative.
The world is surreal, but the feeling is real.
Tools and Process
I wrote the lyrics, shaped the visual tone and directed the emotional flow of the story.
Tools used:
- Veo 3.1, Hailuo, Seedance Pro, Kling 2.1 and 2.5 via FAL.ai for cinematic video generation and motion
- Google Imagen and Seedream for individual frames and visual accents
- Udio for the vocal performance and song structure
- Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, pacing, colour and texture
Challenges
The biggest challenge was keeping the human emotion clear while working with synthetic elements.
The creature had to feel relatable without becoming too cute or too monstrous.
Matching tone, timing and motion across different tools required a lot of iteration.
Staying simple was harder than adding spectacle.
What I Learned
I learned how effective AI can be when used in service of a clear story and emotion.
It’s not the tools that create the feeling – it’s restraint, rhythm and honesty.
Heart of Stone became a test of how music video, narrative and AI imagery can work together to express a simple truth:
Sometimes our hearts feel too heavy for love,
and yet we still hope someone will see us.
