Inspiration

The inspiration was to help the government detect liers.

It helps tell if someone is telling the truth.

We built it using React JS, Python, and OpenCV

Training the Neural Network

Having something to display to everyone.

Everyone learned how to use OpenCV for Machine Learning

We will try to make it better and more accurate in order to help get the truth out.

I made the program that records the data using python and opencv to access the webcam and save the file as either a clip of a truth or a clip of a lie. I also recorded me lying 33 times and telling the truth 66 times to be our data, and me and another member of my group helped train the neural network by gathering more data from other groups. Making that application taught me just how simple programming becomes using libraries in python, and how to write, save, and edit video files.
