Weather connected maps that provide the weather conditions at your origin and destination. We thought it would be useful to connect google maps to weather.
What it does
Tempus allows users to view the current conditions of weather from their origin and destination. Tempus shows if there will be precipitation at the destination within the next 120 minutes. Perfect for day trips.
How I built it
We built a web app in which a Google maps and matrix API is used. The weather data is grabbed using the AccuWeather current conditions API and minute by the minute forecast.
Challenges I ran into
Optimizing the web for the mobile. I guess it is mobile first.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Linking the Google API and AccuWeather API.
